1eyedjack
I would quite like to set up a bidding practice room where one partner can see all 4 hands but the other partner can only see his own hand (until the auction is over). The player who can see all 4 hands throughout also would have the option to interject opposition bidding. This seems like a major change. Perhaps something for Fred to consider in his new major rewrite?

It is called "go to a teaching table and have one player put 3 post-it notes on his screen to cover the other hands." :o
inquiry
Predeal the hands and have one player load the new one each time. Clearly he will then be able to see the ahnds he is loading.
1eyedjack
Thanks for the replies. I cannot see how to deal random hands with constraints using either of the suggested methods, but will keep trying.

1eyedjack
Justin's suggestion is fine if you are using saved hands or have third party software for generating hands in lin format with the imposition of constraints on the random deal. I have neither. I remain of the opinion that my original suggestion would constitute an improvement. The suggested workarounds appear to fall short of that suggestion in one respect or another. Marlowe teaching tables guys. Hi Justin, I tried to load prepared deals to a teaching table, but I was not able to hide 3 hands, ... I wanted to train with my partner bidding and play. Of course JDonns suggestion use "Postit's" on the screen, altough made in jest, works, but there has to be a better solution. With kind regardsMarlowe
