saving BBO mail message for later reply

Thank you for the information. I need to clarify the question: When I log on to BBO and there is a mail message waiting, a little window pops up with the message and with a box in which I can write a reply. (This is not the regular chat window.) Sometimes I don't want to take time to reply at that moment but would like to reply later. I haven't found a way to retrieve the mail message window once I've closed it, and I'm wondering if it's even possible to do that.

I see that, if I have chat-logging enabled, I can open the chat log text file in a word processing program, rummage around to find the message I'm looking for, and then switch back to BBO chat/mail to write a reply. But I'm wondering if there is a way, within BBO, simply to park a mail message and respond to it later.

The way to reply later is to note who sent the message to you, and send a reply to that person.

2 ways:

If he's in BBO, just click his name and type to him.

And whether he is in BBO or not, you can open the "CHAT" window by clicking on it, then type his name in t he "username" space, and then type your message.

I'd like to clarify the question further.

I'm trying to find out if it's possible, within BBO, to save and retrieve a mail message/window that pops up when I log on to BBO, so that I can reply to the message later. I know that I can find the message on my computer if I log chat and then sift through the chat log file for it. I know that I can try to remember the message and the sender and then later send a regular BBO chat message to that person. What I don't know, but would like to find out, is whether there is any way to save and retrieve the little pop-up window that contains the mail message so that the message can conveniently be replied to later (without having to retrieve the chat log and locate the message, and without having to write down what the message said and who the message was from).
