I really want to pass, and take my 50 a trick, but +110 is just too likely in hearts, or +120 in NT. If I held the diamond suit, I'd probably pass. whereagles Posted March 22, 2007 Report Share Posted March 22, 2007 You have to bid 1♥ here. It feels like an underbid, but pard rates to be broke anyway, so there should be no problem. At imps you could gamble a pass, hoping opps ended up in the 3-3 fit, but at MPs there's a good chance for 110-140 in hearts and it's difficult to set 1♣ 3 tricks.
