pbleighton
No, opps have too much juice. Could make, but I don't like chasing rainbows, I seem to catch them less than 50% of the time. Peter
han
Not, a cuebidding auction won't help so there is no way that we are going to find out if partner's cards are right or wrong.
kenrexford
Presumably 3♥ (transfer I assume) allows partner to super-accept, right? If so, it would be great if a super-accept shows a COV. If so, I'd love to hear 4♦. Two of the top three trumps plus two of the top three diamonds, as starters? Wow! I already expect: AKx(x)-???-KQ(x..)-??? at worst, with 7-8 more HCP's coming, and not two of the top three clubs to burn up that potential? Heck, even AQ in diamonds and AKx in spades, with nothing more, makes the slam about 50-50 worst case. So, as an ideal cuebidding style and fortunate holding/auction would allow a slam to be found, I'd seek it. The next question is whether you have that or a similar cuebidding style? What are Opener's and Responder's options after 3♥, as to super-accepts and follow-ups or as to Responder's options after a non-super? whereagles
I take it 1♣-4♠ was some kind of club raise? :) Anyway.. it's impossible to tell pard we have a hand like this, so let's just play statistics. 7 losers opposite 5 cover cards = 11 tricks. Sign-off.
pclayton
Too much to cover. 4♠.
