hotShot
Hi! Today i had to sub a player at the seconds before the last round, so the 60+x% Score was listed to the sub. Of cause the player was disapointed not to see his name on the list. So might it be possible to list the players (and perhaps the number of rounds they played in the result list. Might be helpful to directors in other ways too. Have a nice dayhotShot
Rain
I'm cynical by nature, and my opinion is that more often than not the opposite happens--a player with a bad score flees at the last round so that his name won't be on the bad score. The way I see it, subs are wonderful people who are willing to help make up numbers for tournaments. I don't see why good results should be credited to a registered player who has given trouble to the tournament by being unable (for whatever reason, frivolous or reasonable) to finish it. More often than not, the reason for leaving is that expected results are bad, and then these results are credited to the poor sub. This is the only unfair part I can see. Therefore the only change I think fair is for a sub who hasn't played all boards in the tourney to have a (sub) next to their name. I think in future bbo versions directors can exclude people who frequently don't finish boards. I'll choose that option for sure, and then we can be rid of people like that. hotShot
If my sugestion would be fullfilled, a player running prios to the end is still listed next to the bad result.Might stop one or the other to leave, since it makes no difference than.
