TOURNAMENT After registering with a partner in a tournament it would be nice if the line in the tournament thats says.... You are registered to play in the tournament with partner_01 actually had a link to your partners profile CHAT Can the Chat box be made a lil more user friendly. Its not entirely easy to search up someone you dont have among friends. And the torurnament invitations are often coming only minutes before start. I really like to talk to my new pd at least 10 minutes about system (stuff like negative or forcing free bids etc) and especially defensive stuff. Unfortunately, sometimes they're invisible. Finding them in between all the cyan names is sub-optimal anywho. So there ought to be some sort of quick button to chat to your partner before the tourney. I'm not sure I like your other suggestion though. It seems to me that this is a slippery slope to the unbelievably impersonal world of windows "internet backgammon" type pre-written chat. When partners register in tourney, they should also be able to see their cc, and not have to wait till the tourney begins. Idealy, I picture something like: Partnership registers, big CC appear in front of them, and they are invited to use it or modify it, and they are able to chat too.
