Gerben42
I would have jumped to 3♥ right away, now partner thinks you have a weak NT!
MickyB
I really wish WJ would use opener's 2♦ rebid as any weak NT.
Tola18
I really wish WJ would use opener's 2♦ rebid as any weak NT. You want it as a sort of inverted Odwrotka?I think an alternative is to have it as a field-odwrotka, saying: I have a strong variation, GF is on, and probably even slam-search. ...................... In the actual bidding, I think the ship went astray with 3sp. Was it fourth suit?? Why, 18+10 is GF, so use the tempo for something constructive. 3NT perhaps, to show tolerance for hearts (AND at least halvstopper in spades). Or even 2NT was even still better with the same meaning, instead of 3D.Thus 3H would set the hearts, and you could proceed with cue-bids and or RKCB.Thus, if opener has hearts and diamonds, and want to find diamonds, he can bid diamonds. Otherwise you dont need to show them.
