cinvent77
Pass. Was it 4Sx + 1?
BebopKid
Unless you have an agreement that doubles at game level are takeout then pass. Your partner wants to set them. If he wanted to play, he'd bid 4NT or something else.
jtfanclub
Your choices are 1) Pass or 2) find a new partner. When your partner makes a penalty double in direct seat, you'd better have a darn good reason to pull it.

" 1.I post this board because that 4s bid sounds insane or suicide when in vul and after a normal range of 2nt and with a pass pard so should be an alarm there.2.I was pard of the one who who bids 4s and I thought maybe was one from my enemies list when he/she made that bid.3.3. I’m B/I so of course I pass after 4s x because I do not have skills neither experience to interpret that x as t/o.

Hi, 1) maybe he has a hand which goes at most -2, and since he is missing the king of spades and 2 other cards in he spades, he expects 3NT to make e.g. a 8 card suit with an out side Ace2) no comment3) a high level double made by our side after we have committed to game, is penalty more precise, a pass by the NT opener would have been forcing Those double simply express the opinion that our side maybe better of defending, which would be the case holding lots of Queens / Jacks With kind regardsMarlowe
pclayton
Pass of course. 4♠ x's looks juicy, and 4N looks speculative. If pard wasn't sure, I'd hear a FP.
Apollo81
I suspect a unanimous vote for pass.
whereagles
Well, if dbl is take-out I bid 5♣.. :P Else pass, of course.
neilkaz
If my PD pulls this double with his/her hand with the K of trumps after I have opened 2NT so my hand is known, it will absolutely be the last hand of the session !
