pclayton
I think I've mentioned this once, but I'd like to get this on the record. This morning I'm kibitzing Subhash Gupta (a very good player from India who was formerly from Calgary) in a team match. I'm only kibitzing his hand (East) and trying to anticipate his actions during the hand. Out of the corner of my eye comes the result from the other table, "3N +4, 630". :( Kind of ruins the kibitzing don't you think? If I really want to see what happened, I can pull up the movie. Can't there be a way to disable the other table result when kibitzing a team game or Vugraph? Maybe the default could be to show the other table result when all 4 hands are exposed, but to hide the other table result when kibbing only one hand? Thanks for considering this. pclayton
I'm going to necro this thread (is a single comment still a thread?). This is still a big annoyance for me.
Trumpace
There are workarounds, if you are using windows. For instance, You can create a small window which always stays on top and move that over the result area of the BBO window. You can use this: http://www.computeractive.co.uk/vnunet/dow...151200/deskpinswhich can make any window stay on top. Then, startup say, notepad.exe and resize it to fit over the result window. Then click on the BBO window, and you should be fine, chat etc... Note: I haven't tested this (nor the software link I gave), but I think it will work. pclayton
Or I guess I could just take some masking tape and apply it to my monitor?
Echognome
Or I guess I could just take some masking tape and apply it to my monitor? Try duct tape. It might blend with your monitor better.
Trumpace
Or I guess I could just take some masking tape and apply it to my monitor? lol... Sure (you seem to be getting the hang of it :P ). Why not, if it won't harm your monitor. The next step would be to have a window which follows BBO window around (beat that! masking tape), but we would have to write some software for that... hehe. Seriously though, I don't think this feature is any useful/worth the effort (Frankly, I think it is a pretty silly feature). Good luck. Maybe uday will give you a private version which has this (speaking as a software guy, I think this should be a pretty easy change to make).
