What the hell is this?

without agreement it seems a little crazy, but I would take:

3H = I have a solid running minor and a heart stop. If you can stop diam, we have 3N(with opps bidding 2 suits, you bid the stop you have rather then the stop you need)

5C = Well, I still have my long minor

3 4 card spade limit raise or better-

5 Difficult to believe but I suppose in theory a slam try showing Ace clubs, denying ability to cue spades, and denying an initial ability to splinter

Couldn't he bid 2 instead of jumping to 3 with this hand with spade support?

The auction (we unfavorable, RHO dealer):

1 - 1 - 2 - 3?

4 - pass - pass - 5??

pass - ...

- What is 3 in your opinion?

- What is 5?

Pardon my strange ideas...

3 is natural, either trying to get to 3NT if you have a diamond stopper or to 4 if the 1 bid was a psyche.

5 is natural and to play.

After the first three bids, somebody is psyching. Partner is figuring that it isn't you.

i want to beat partner with a pitchfork.

Seems to me that 3h is a stopper ask with running clubs.

I expect p not to have heart support as s/he has boldly bypassed

4h on the way to 5c.

It is also possible that p is showing a heart stopper and asking for a

diamond... after all -- opps have bid two suits.

I think it best not to pull out this sort of ape-s$#t in a pickup.

Without the diamond response, I would take 3 as a Rosler cue bid and 2 as normally a limit raise or better with 3-card spade support. I don't think the 2 response to opener affects the meaning of advancer's bid. If you do not have this understanding, then you have to guess what it means.
