Also they wouldnt be happy when you go down in a number of NT. Of course u can tell them "I could have had xx of ♥ instead and still gone down" and u would be right, but they won't (and shouldn't) understand. The "no singleton in 1NT" is a very nice idea that hasn't been proven wrong yet (except maybe in 3rd seat semi psychic 6m331 1NT openers).
