gwnn
If this is trump, u need to find the jack or a doubleton ace. If LHO is trusworthy then he should have values and at least 3 cards in this suit, so run the ten.

inquiry
1. north Q982 south K1075 how you play for one looser?2. suppose you south and your LHO double to take out one of the other suit of yours. does this change your play for this combination? thank you for your advice you play low the top honor in the opposite hand, and if that wins, "hook" the jack on the way back. With no information on the opponents hands, you can play low from either hand, as the odds are the same. If LHO (you didn;t say rather North or South was the point of reference for LHO) made a takeout double of a different suit, the correct line will depend upon a number of factors. Would LHO have his bid without the ACE of this suit? I would tend to play LHO for the jack using the line suggested by jiki in case my RHO has the singleton JACK in this suit. That is I play low towards the high honor in front of the LHO (if West Doubled, i play low to the king, if EAST doubled i play low to queen), i am hooking jack on way back.
