xx1943
[hv=d=w&v=b&s=s76ha1065daj3ck965]133|100|Scoring: MPWEST NORTH EAST SOUTH 1♠ pass 2♦ pass 2♠ pass 2NT pass pass pass[/hv] Assuming you lead 4th-best, what is your lead and why? Do you general lead a major?Do you prefer to lead from A10xx instead of K9xx?Can it be wise to lead openers rebid suit? Edited:Sorry I posted this in the wrong folder. Maybe someone of the admins can shift to the "Beginners and Intermediates" Forum. Thank you.
BebopKid
I would lead the ♣5. If you get the ♣A out then you know you can come back and cash the king after you take one of your aces.
cherdano
I slightly prefer to lead an unbid major over an unbid minor, but I don't think it is as important as others seem to believe.I strongly prefer to lead from K9xx instead of ATxx. I would almost never openers 5card suit. Why set up his suit while he still has entries? If partner has ♠KQJ98, then he can double ;)
brianshark
With a long ♠ suit that could be run, I think I prefer the more aggresive ♥ lead.
whereagles
hum.. anything except a diamond could be right.. lol. My feeling tells me a spade is right, so that's my lead.
