Hi, I have question for all y people out there. Does anybody have the Meckwell defense against strong and weak NT laying around ? And r y able to either e-mail it to me or post it here ?

Per their WBF CC:

 

Vs. Strong (and by passed hand - defense I also use):

 

X - single suited minor OR both majors

2C/D - bid minor and side major

2H/S - natural

2NT - minors

3X - preeemptive

 

Vs. Weak

 

X - 14+ HCP

2C - spades plus hearts OR clubs

2D - diamonds and side major

2H/S - natural

2NT - single suited hand

3C - hearts and clubs, 5-5 or better

3D - diamonds and hearts, 5-5 or better

3H - hearts and spades, 5-5 or better

3S - spades and diamonds

BTW, Meckwell has had a TREMENDOUS impact on the development of Key Lime. It was the starting point, the inspiration when ideas ran out, and the continued tour de force for the progression. I am very, very humbled to know that their style, approach, and total dedication has earned them many World Championships.

Dwayne bridgeFILES are aimed to help me to play several artificial systems correct without the need to remember them in fully. As I offer my files for anybody interested they therefore serve as a tool enabling all to play good and interesting bridge without the risk to dedicate that much of their life to special sequences that they forget what really matters for them in life - daughters wedding, birthday of your wife etc.

 

Therefore you will see the important stuff on bridgeFILES is not the WEB-sites but the download files. The download files which enables me to accept immediate play with new partners without the need to discuss a lot about conventions etc. We simply apply to the system acc. to origin or choose another system.

 

Right now the content is the files I have created. In fact bridgeFILES, like anything else I try to enterprise, is open for all interested to join I will gladly include your files. The format is so that the content must be visible during play alongside bridgetable. The info is defined so that all non-stated info is assumed to be natural. The info contains a full system, offensive, interference, defensive, convention cards, alert-file. Info to be available for view on WEB and in format of 18 pos. width for a package-download.

 

The content is a general option but the selection of systems I also see as some kind of guidance of what is solid and what is not.

 

If your files comply to this I can include them immediately just creating the needed bat-files. Else I will gladly do so later. Solid and relevant stuff in other formats or with other intensions I prefer only to link to. I want to provide relevant information of what others are doing even they dont apply to the format I use.
