Guest Jlall
white/white imps. xx xxx x AQJxxxx. You open 3C, pass, partner bids 4H, and RHO bids 5D. Do you act? If you pass, partner reopens with 5H and RHO bids 6D. Do you raise now? If you pass, partner Xs. What do you lead?
Finch
I would have bid 5H over 5D. How can I have a better hand? Supposing that it went 5H P P 6D P P x, I would lead the ace of clubs. (I remember a hand something like this, but may not be the same one. 6D and 6H were both making... so I suppose it can't be the same hand or it wouldn't be a lead problem!) pclayton
Would have opened this 4♣ at equal, but you already knew that <_< Here, I'd take the push to 5♥ and let pard decide the rest of the hand.
mikeh
As per Frances... leaving out the prior experience comments, this is exactly my answer.
hatchett
I also think 5♥ is clear over 5♦
