mikegill
[hv=d=w&v=n&s=sk63h652d8765ct32]133|100|Scoring: IMP1S p 2C p 2S p 6N pp p[/hv] From a social bridge game on New Years Eve. Declarer is an expert, but not in a practiced partnership - hence the auction. What's your choice?
whereagles
Middle spade seems like a good bet to me.
Guest Jlall
Against myself I would lead in insta club. Really it would depend on my RHO. If hes the sort who might be tricky then this auction is ridiculously suspicious. Is he young? If not I'll just go with a diamond.
pclayton
Its hard to come up with a hand that RHO is jokering on. Perhaps something like: Qx, AK, AKQJxx, Qxx? I'll lead a ♦ and pay off.

Declarer's me. edit: I'd probably lead insta club against myself too
sathyab
If you choose a middle spade trying to talk declarer out of a possible finesse, it shouldn't work against a decent declarer if he thinks you're a decent player. It'd be unlikely that you're leading from nothing in spades when it can completely destroy any useful holding partner may have.
P_Marlowe
Try to go passive, i.e. eithera heart or a diamond. With kind regardsMarlowe
mikeh
A boring ♦. A ♠ lead deserves to find the suit with dummy holding A1098xx and declarer Qx.
Codo
Ddeclarer did not use keycard and he did not look for a grand or a Slam in Clubs or Spades. So I guess, that he has no tool to find out in convidence, which suit can be wide open but hopes to have enough tricks opposite a normal weak bidding . So I bet, that he has the ace of spade. (if this spade was missing, he could have used blackwood) and is missing a control in a red suit. He hopes, that dummy can stop this suit and it is my responsibility to find it. I will go for a diamond lead.
