Mr. Dodgy
[hv=d=e&v=n&s=skq953h8dakj865ca]133|100|Scoring: MPPass-Pass-1♥-?[/hv] At my table it went like this: Pass-Pass-1♥-Dbl;2♥-Pass-Pass-3♦;3♥-4♦-Pass-4♠;Pass-5♦-All Pass. Seconds after doubling I realised that 2♥ followed by 4♦ was perhaps a better way to bid this (is the 4♠ bid ambiguous?). Do you agree? What differences might these two auctions indicate? Thanks, Justin.
cnszsun
After double first then 3D, i think you showed a strong hand with ♦ suit.Partner bid 4♦ freely, you can easily have a slam, so any bid other than 5♦ is better to be taken as slam try. What's difference between 4♥ and 4♠? I think 4♥ must promise ♥ control, otherwise, how do you know ♥ is not open? If 4♥ promise contorl, then 4♠ will deny ♥ control, it's ♠ cue and slam try, Any ideas?Sure, bidding 2♥ as Michaels, and ♦ later will show this hand better.
