North open 1♠, Pas, South bid 2♥I think that system of playing is not so important, the bids are natural so far. So West bid DBL.Now your rebid ?At all i should to show only North hand, but after 2♥ bid i think that South can't hold something so weird that to be hidden. mcphee
Gee I love it when this happens. The real question is are we going to sit for 3C doubled, which I suppose you should. Lastly, what will the final number be? They may struggle to take 5 tricks.
pbleighton
"I think that system of playing is not so important, the bids are natural so far." I disagree. If we are playing 2/1 GF, I bid 3D. If not, I bid 2S. One thing I don't do is pass with a 6-5 hand. Peter
whereagles
I would bid 2♠, regardless of 2/1 gf or not.
dake50
West Dbl = ?? minors without DAK, CA instead of 2NT(pure offense)?? Crazy!3-suit takeout ?? when both our bids promise 5-suits? Crazy! Long C-suit + weird distribution? Now, how many defensive tricks to expect? Bad splits advertised, take set.
Guest Jlall
I would pass and sit for a X of 3C, and bid 3S if partner did not X 3C.
flytoox
rebiding 2S would be wrong here. YOu have a bad suit and your hand is very suited to defense. I vote for rdbl. I hope pd can dbl 3C.
the hog
Redoubling on this shape is totally incorrect. I would bid 2S, after all I do have 6 of them.
pclayton
First - a pet peeve. Is pass or redouble a possibility? Then please ask us what our 'call'' is, not what our 'bid' is. Im fine with either 2S or Pass. Im not OK with a redouble - I only want pard doubling 3C on 4 really good ones or 5. I think redouble asks pard to double 3C on any excuse, including 4 moderate trump or even a holding like AQx.
mike777
OK and now for something completely different...assuming no roth/stone I just bid one semiforcing(pard can pass) 1nt. Ya I could have more for this bid so not close to 2H ;)
