tritri
Hello everyone.I am a TD and I make many tournaments.Today I have tested a new tourney, that I would dare to say clamorous: from the 3° round they are eliminated the pairs with the score more low and gradually therefore to arrive in end with the best players. I find wonderful it, also because therefore he will remain in contest only who is not only Bravo in the game, but also who does not lose useless time in calls or controversies.THANKS UDAY!!! (sorry for the my bad English)
keylime
Ok I got to admit, the eliminator style format, I loved it - I kept looking at the tallies and table number to see if I was going downward! B)
EarlPurple
It's a nice idea as it means people can leave tourneys when it's running really badly for them - well that happens automatically. And if you're not booted out it means the tourney isn't going as badly as you thought. I notice you get one round of grace so you can still recover from a setback on the first boards (perhaps being "fixed by the field")

mishovnbg
Hi all! May be I don't understand something, but I thought that tournaments are for players, not for directors? I don't think can be something worse than eliminate the last pair, because half table and software weakness :). I won the cvalification for BBO winers in MP tournaments with PPilot. We was registered as last pair at finals and was automatically removed with beginning of tourney, because of half table... I think that not the software must rule people, but people (directors) must rule the software. May be fantast writers was right about in the future machines will rule the world.. Gweny
;) I adore new beta! Uday my compliments! I to wish we see sitout vs discard odd pair. I hate see people who sign up and then do not get to play. Maybe uday give us back sitout? (hint hint) New subbing thing is WONDERFUL :-) And more good things is coming tee hee Survivor is very nice and allow us to free up subs and other pairs to play in new events. Yes it is little bit hard on new people /beginners but I think when they DO make cut it is very gratifing
