In vugraph, for example, all commentators can make real commentaries (everybody else are silent, can only send messages to commentators). There could be a teaching mode, where the owner of the table (teacher) can talk and the pupils can hear it. The pupils however can send messages. There are similar applications (for different games), where live commentaries can be used. This is however a special feature and a standard user cannot be the talker (only hear). (I use Ventrillo daily) I'd prefer to see Fred and Uday focus on bridge specific functions that can't be duplicated with off the shelf components.
