What in your opinion is the best use of double? These options occur to me: 1. Takeout for the two unbid suits 2. Takeout of opener's suit - catering to responder psyching 3. Double is often leading to disasters and I try to avoid bids with no clear or natural description. This means if takeout in minors I instead bid 4NT. If takeout in M+m I bid 5+cards suit. Now you dont really want to have to bid 5M natural but the takeout X could be useful... I've seen this psyche about 3 times though and it's always worked well because they couldnt X for penalty.
