Kaapo
If a yellow is marked as a friend, she's shown on purple, not yellow. Has this changed in one of the latest versions? If a yellow is marked as an enemy, do broadcast messages get through? This was tested a long time ago (out of accident) and they didn't. I think they should. I'm not quite sure if there's reason to be able to mark yellows as friends or enemies, anyway. :)

You are right that broadcast chats from yellows who are enemies will not be seen. Maybe you are right that this is a bad idea, but it is probably a bad idea to mark yellows as enemies too. Sure there is a reason to mark yellows and friends/enemies - they are people too :) Fred GitelmanBridge Base Inc.www.bridgebase.com
inquiry
Marking a yellow as an enemy carries an additional hidden risk. If a yellow feels the need to issue a warning to you for some action you are doing, or some inappropriate statement you have on your profile. They will often request a response, or in the case of profile material deemed inappropriate, will give you some short time period to rectify the problem. If you can't see their comments, but instead merrily play on they are likely to issue a ban that will hit you as a big surprise as you never even saw the warning/instruction before it shows up. julie5607
Why not simply disable the "enemy" option for hosts? Even tho they are people too there is really no need to set them as enemies, as they stand out and are not easily forgotten. That way people would have no excuse as to why they missed an important communication. Julie
gwnn
Yea and yellows are awesome people. Well, I'm yet to meet one who isn't. If u need to mark a yellow as an enemy u better look at yourself :)
DrTodd13
A lot of people use the enemy flag to make it easy to remember you don't want to play with the person, not that they aren't necessarily a nice person. So, as long as all yellows aren't Zia or Duboin and as long as we can't separate "nice/mean" from "good player/bad player" then we'll have this problem. So, as long as all yellows aren't Zia or Duboin and as long as we can't separate "nice/mean" from "good player/bad player" then we'll have this problem. How hard can it be to add the choice for "Dont Want to play with this person"? I would suggest red for their color, but it would conflict with disconnect color....Any other suggestions for color? Blue, maybe? It appears that many of us really would like to be able to distinguish between people we would prefer not to play with, and people that we would wish to totally avoid. As long as we're on the subject, can the names show up in color on a tournament or team game invitation, so that a player can choose to decline the team match based on who is playing at a glance? Most times, a team match invitation is issued and I dont look at who is actually playing, only to find myself seated vs. an opponent that I normally would not play against. So - we are not making any substantial changes right now. Only changes will be bug fixes until after we release a new official version. gwnn
You can use Player notes for this. Quite easy and elegant. Next time john doe says hi you'll see "nice guy but has little or no knowledge of the game" written under his name. Enemy is such a harsh word. I hope it is still being monitored Would it be possible for purple coated yellows to be user dressed. It is annoying me more than a little to find - light blue - yellow - purple - yellow - yellow - purple - yellow - purple ..............
