barmar Posted November 9, 2006 Report Share Posted November 9, 2006 I used the Sounds control panel to disable sounds for Start Navigation and Complete Navigation, and it silenced the clicks from the BBO ads. But since upgrading to 4.9.6 I've noticed that the clicks are back. In fact, they seem to be even more frequent -- not just at the beginning of an ad cycle, but also as the ad is animating. And instead of just a single click, it's now a whole bunch of them at once -- it's a rat-a-tat-tat type of sound. Maybe these are not coming from the navigation, but are actual sounds embedded into a particular ad. I think I only notice it when it's displaying the ACBL ad.
