akhare
Hi, There should be an option for ghoulash deals at tables, at some point. Dan Extending this to be more generic -- how about the ability to place constraints on the hand types that are dealt (a la partnership bidding)? Of course, scoring at such tables should be non competitive or should be compared only against similar tables...
keylime
If there's going to be a ghoulash table, I want to be able to add my own spices to it to make it tolerable to eat. lolol

GeeGee
I thought the spelling was 'Goulash', after the Hungarian dish, but 'Ghoulash' comes over far, far better :P Geoff
sceptic
I think you should be able to create tourneys based on the partnership bidding constraints and options
paulg
I think you should be able to create tourneys based on the partnership bidding constraints and optionsYou can do this as it is (I originally wrote 'you can do this easily enough' but that's only true if you are used to loading preset hands into a tournament). It is an interesting idea for a teaching tournament so I may try this in the near future. Paul
inquiry
Couple of issues.. If you create ghoulash deals for tournaments, don't be lazy. Create completely new ones for tournaments used later. There is one director who recycles the same hands... they are getting tiresome. Second, I am not so sure we should strive for such a table, but if there was a strong desire for it there are a couple of hurdles. Surely, like OKBridge, the BBO must deal thousands of hands out at one time and then use these. They are not dealing the hands at each table or they would not match. So you would have to have a way to deal one pile of ghoulash hands and store them in a different place, and then have those hands called up when a ghoulash table started. No doubt it can be done, but it increase the overhead a bit. We can always deal ghoulash hands and use them in tournaments and team games quite easily with no over head.
