Rain
My dell wireless mouse requires 2 AA batteries every 4-5 weeks. Is this normal? I've tried changing from energiser to duracell, and now I'm thinking I should just invest in energiser or duracell's parent company to recoup the costs. Al_U_Card
Let me guess, you really need to be further away from your computer than comfortable viewing distance to require the need of a "wireless" mouse... :) How about one with a "longer" tail that plugs into the computer?
bid_em_up
Get a wireless mouse with rechargable batteries (and a base for recharging). Or just buy rechargable batteries and a battery charger. My first set of rechargable batteries lasted about 2 1/2 years. In most cases, placing the mouse on the charger overnite kept them adequetely charged.
JoAnneM
What is the point of a wireless mouse? I just love it when one of my partners start losing control of their mouse in the middle of a game because they forgot to recharge it or put in batteries. Just get a USB hub. Rain
After the wireless mouse died in the middle of a heated WOW battle and got me killed, I've decided to take JoAnneM and Card's advice. I changed to logitech mouse. And now minesweeper works better too! Logitech all the way! Down with Dell and Microsoft!
