Hi,

 

5C is a strange bid, I take it, that they

dont play a convention, which would

transfer the clubs to the NT opener?

 

He did not open 3C or 4C, but did not

use Stayman.

That means he either forgot to open 3C,

4C (I will ignore this option), or he has

just a rotten 6 card suit. But then the bid

makes even less sense.

 

I will try to go passive and lead a spade.

PS: Underleading the Ace is possible, but

it is hard to defend if it is wrong.
