Yet more feedback on the interface changes

Recommended Posts

Maybe this is a little late by now, but it takes some time to digest all these (mostly great) changes.

I have various comments, some small, some bigger. Sorry, I mention them even when I don't have better suggestions (yeah I know I am taking the easy part...)

- You wanted to have the "Play Bridge" button stand out more. I think you could go further than that :) (I think it could be bigger than the rest, it certainly gets clicked 10 times as often as all the other buttons. I am not even sure it stands out more than previously. At least in my display settings (high screen resolution), it is a lot smaller than earlier.)

- I find it very unintuitive that a button called "Options" is not only used to change preferences, but for actual functionality ("Find person", "Show news").

- I guess when seekers are selected, they should be shown at the top of the list. (This seems the logical compromise to me from the discussion whether to list other categories at all.)

- Where did BridgeMaster go? :) (P.S.: Found it now...it's somewhat hidden and for a couple of days I was convinced it had disappeared until everything got sorted out. But I am relieved it is still there. B) )

- The initial settings for number of columns for the player list was way too low in my case. I know I can change it (and have done so), but having good defaults is obviously important for the 90% of users who will never change it (and for making an immediate good impression on newcomers).

- Isn't it wrong that robot race tournaments are listed with a green $? I thought the entry fee is paid in BBO $, not MoneyBridge $.

- Thanks a lot for the tabbed centralized options settings dialog!

Could you add a VIEW menu in the Team Matches and Tournament areas, like the one that's in MBC? I'd like to filter down to matches and tournaments that have stars and friends.

Not in this round of new versions - sorry - maybe in the future.
