onoway
just a comment that I really like the improved format for the analysis of the hands. It is a lot easier to follow. Now if only the results posted to my name were only a little better.....:-)
inquiry
Thanks, actually, the full change did not occur until today. The hand record is now arranged so that the play is to the right of the hand, the results of the hand and duplicate score underneath it, as is the bidding, and the computer generated makeable contracts are to the right of the bidding. We have added some color coding as well. In the auction boxes, if the names are green, they are not vul, if they are red, they are vulnerable. The makeable contracts has a blue heading, and the results at all tables have an orange/yellow header. An example of the online hand report would be this one: My traveller As you may note, you can jump to any board in the even by clicking the board number in the divider bars between hands. You can jump to any of the plays by other players by clicking on their names in the results of a given hand.. Alerts are also given (if made) below the auction and before the results. At the bottom of the display is the final standings for the players. Once again, all hyperlinked. A very easy way to review the hands. It is not only Homebase's hand record page that has been updated. We have also made numerous improvements to homebase bridgebrowser. The only way to get access to homebase bridgebrowser is to play in a homebase event, but other than playing that one time a quarter, the browser is FREE. The improvements are mostly for people intrested in studying bridgehands. The use of the browser for replaying in hands played on the BBO in double dummy mode, as well as see how anyone did in any homebase event in just seconds, remains the same.
