inquiry
Yes.. The help button would have been useful here for you. A contract is specified as: The "level" (number between 1 and 7) The "strain" (C, D, H, S, or N) The "declarer" (N, E, S or W) Optionally, if Dbled or Redble (X or XX). If contract makes exactly, place = sign If contract makes with overtrick use a plus sign and a number to indicate how many extra tricks (+2 is two overtricks) If contract is down, use a minus sign and a number to indicate how many down (-3 is 3 undertricks)Examples: PASS (passed out hand( 7NSXX= 7NT by South, redbled, making 4HE+1 4 hearts by East making an overtrick 3NW-2 3NT by West down two You can also enter average, average plus or average minus for a hand, although I doubt this works for well for team matches. The format for this is letter A followed by the result for NS then EW. An = sign means average, a + is average plus, and a - is average minus. Easier with examples.... A== is both NS and EW get Average A++ both NS and EW get Average + A-- both NS and EW get Average - A+- NS get average +, EW get average - A-= NS get average-, EW get average, etc Ben
Gweny
???I like very much suggestions please on appropriate penalty for people who do not accept valid claims o allow time to run out so they avoid bad result. I consider option of additional down 1 o plus 1 to benefit opps but this directly impact other players in tournament. Suggestions?
uday
Difficult to detect this automatically. Failure to accept claim could be bec. of poor connection or bec. player needs time to analyze claim.
