sceptic
I was playing in the new $0.25 tourney and I said GLP to a robot, what do you advise I do?
GeeGee
Doesn't this show, as a typical Brit, you are naturally polite? I said thank you to an automatic door the other day. Geoff
helene_t
No, you don't need to see your shrink, you're perfectly normal. Most people relate to their computer as to another person. If you start saying glp to a nutcracker or a can-opener, though, I advise you to call 112 immediately.
barmar
The way GIB bids sometimes, it can use all the luck you can give it.
GeeGee
Most people relate to their computer as to another person.I'm afraid if I related to other people the way I do to my computer, I would have a long criminal record of assault. Rain
I consider you to have reached the pinnacle of urbane courtesy only if you can say WDP to the gibiot without flinching. Let me know :)
jillybean
To complete the picture can GIB be programmed to respond courteously with the standard glp, typ - wdo, gtpSoon we may be able to hold all of our conversations with a GIB, imagine the reduction in complaints to abuse! Mr. Dodgy
I only just stopped myself doing the same thing the other day in the same circumstances. I find it mildly amusing to engage GIBs in conversation. At least they always stick the match out and don't make any snide remarks. For that they deserve a TYP now and then. Start worrying if you try to add them to your friends list. What is JIGO-JITOKU?
jillybean
JIGO-JITOKU…We host international students and one of these students was following Buddhism. Over the course of their stay I learned quite a lot about Japanese Buddhism and I was given a book of proverbs. This is one of my favorites JIGO-JITOKU - The fruit of ones own deeds We currently have a student from Mexico so we are enjoying fresh salsa and tortillas :(
