42
Hi all (who know me),after 20 years my love for bridge got lost and I retire (at least I will take a longer break). There are many different reasons for that which I do not want to explain here further, but to go without a word just does not seem to be right because I participated from the very first days on, met many friends and nice persons here and learned a lot.♥A special "thank you" to Fred, Sheri and Uday♥ for a good time and the many possibilities to play and improve here and on BBO!Best wishes and have fun! Bridge is still a nice game and life is short :)Yours,Caren
jillybean
Hi Caren, I’m a little sad to read this, it feels like a friend is moving away. I have enjoyed your contributions here and enjoyed getting to know you in this strange online community. I know you will succeed and follow your heart, I hope a little of your passion for life has worn off on us. :) You will be missed♥jb

Al_U_Card
Something to take with you on your journey.... Twisting, turning, unrelentingDark and deep and never endingSeemingly we have no choice, butWhen we try and raise our voice, weOften call to those beside usHoping they will hear and help usOnly then to realize that they tooAre struggling just to stay afloat. How can we then hope to persistAnd even more than just surviveWhat will we do, how to proceedIs there hope, not to be denied? Recall that in our darkest momentsEven as our failing gestures Confirmed the power of that riverAnd the breadth of its mighty courseThat together, sensing pressuresFeeling currents, testing effortsWe will find both rest and pleasureOn the way to where we’re destined.
