fred Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 We are in the middle of an ongoing campaign to try to make GIB's bidding more reliable. Progress has been made, but it is slow and difficult work. People who play against GIB on BBO (either by renting the use of this program or in our various money games) can help by reporting strange bids that GIB makes. The best way to do this is to send me an e-mail (fred@bridgebase.com) with a BBO movie file (.lin file) containing the hand in question as an e-mail attachment. We are especially interested in hands in which GIB's bidding doesn't appear to make any sense (as opposed to hands in which a not completely unreasonable action by GIB happened to work out poorly). At this point in time we are focusing only on bidding - please do not send reports of hands in which GIB played or defended poorly. Thanks in advance for your help!
