Varange
When playing at a table, it would be nice to have a visual cue as to whether any kibs are watching, or even as to how many kibs ... Thanks again for great software, and especially for making a Linux version available. Varange
uday
Mouse your mouse over the top left of the screen (over the representation of the board) and the kib list will pop up
TrialBid
Yes, we know how to do that ... what I thought Varange meant was visual feedback as kibitzers come and go. I believe it would be nice to know whether there is any reason to hover my mouse cursor there before I take the trouble to do it. A mundane possibility: just a counter, maybe blank when 0. A cute possibility: a pair of eyes there to show that kibitzer(s) are present. A more elaborate possibility: enter and exit sound effects for, selectively, Friends/Neutrals/Stars/Enemies. uday
There is a sound effect you can enable that supplies auditory cues when people enter/leave your table. Other than that, there isnt currently any way to know who is watching without moving your mouse.
Varange
yes, TrialBid is absolutely right.... A VISUAL cue to see whether someone is kibbing WITHOUT having to mouse-over. I think his idea of a pair of eyes is really neat. Uday: yes, the sound byte. It's ok, but not great. Cheers, Varange.
