DenisO
I believe there will be 6 qualifiers for the next Bermuda Bowl from the European Championships. Have Italy already qualified automatically as the holders or do they have to finish in the top six?
Gerben42
Italy is qualified as holder of the Bermuda Bowl. 5 other teams will qualify. If you ask me there is more chance winning the lottery than Italy not making the top 6, though. So it will all be irrelevant.
ang
The holders have not qualified automatically for some time. The regulations for Warsaw state: "The teams of the first 6 NBOs in the final ranking of the Open, Women’s andSenior will achieve the right to participate respectively in the 2007 BermudaBowl, Venice Cup and Senior World Championship." Of course that effectively means Italy plus 5 others, but Italy will not qualify automatically.
