Gerardo
I think the problem is Firefox treats LIN files as text files, unless told otherwise. In Myhands, a Content-Type header is sent. (Content-Type: application/bbolin) Nikos, are you using Apache? Can you add this line to your httpd.conf (or the appropiate place)? AddType application/bbolin .lin I think this would fix the issue. Also, to use with Wine under Linux: Make the LIN files open with BBO.sh ----------------------------- BBO.sh -----------------------#!/bin/shexec wine "C:\Bridge Base Online\NetBridgeVu.exe" $1----------------------------- BBO.sh -----------------------
chicken
so as i understood everybody who wants to display lin files via his/her page has to add that line somewhere?
Gerardo
Yes, server configuration file. That's the simpler way. Alternatively, if you can run scripts, a small script may send the Content-Type header, read the file and send the contents.
