Kaapo
Will this feature be available somewhere? In thread How can Vugraph be improved?:The BBO competitor you are referring to gets all of this data through the Bridgemate devices that Jan is referring to. We are currently working on a facility that allows BBO to read from a Bridgemate-generated database and display tournament results/scores/standings in a similar (but superior of course!) way to how things work on our competitor's site. But this won't be useful unless: 1) The tournament in question uses Bridgemate2) The tournament in question agrees to allow us to access their data This facility I describe will be used for the first time during European Championships that will take place this August in Warsaw. Yes, I will give the link in the thread European Championships. Roland
mrdct
It didn't seem to be populating with data in real time during round 1. I went to bed so didn't see round 2. I would've expected that if electronic scoring units were being used at the table the results would be available within a couple of minutes depending on how quickly the website gets updated. uday
This link contains realtime scores http://www.polbridge.pl/wyniki/2006/ec2006...OPENrunda1.html It took a few mins to get rolling in round 1 but it was fine after that, as far as I could see. The Poles have been just great in terms of wanting to get the data out to the world, and doing the right things to make this happen. By contrast, we have been unable to access the Bridgemate data at every other WBF event (the blockage is caused by politics & gamesmanship, not technology). We poll the bridgemate scores ever few minutes and display what we find in Lobby->explore->vugraph->"Latest standings". These screens will usually lag behind the web page by a little bit.
