hallway
Am I the only one who has a problem with the time left to the start as shown in the Tournament Listing and the actual time of day that one has scheduled the start for ?? Every tournament I have done I have encountered these discrepancies. Now my Math is pretty rusty so it has been a case of - oh well one is prone to Senior Moments !! BUT after changing it twice in the past hour I watched it for sometime and while my computer clock ticked over 5 minutes - the Tournament time to start stayed the same :-(
csdenmark
No Maureen! I have also noticed that the BBO clock seems not to be stable. I think you know this feature to help you for count down: http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/customcount.html Time is set for UTC/GMT. It would certainly be nice if BBO would be able to put in links for world clock. Some day that may come I hope.
hallway
Claus I use that link - it is on all the BILounge schedule pages in the Lounge Club News section - direct to the meeting planner which is ideal for my members sorting out their own times to attend teaching sessions. uday
The time-before-start is not updated continuously. If the tourney is more than a day in the future, the time is updated (and broadcast to everyone) about once an hour. If the tourney is more than 4 hours away, every 10 minutes. if less than 4 hours away, every 15 seconds. That might explain some of what you are seeing. Yes, it would be nice if the host could specify (and the viewer could see ) start times in local time. Someday..
