blasto Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 Hi,I'm successfully running BBO with wine under Ubuntu 6.06 but everytime I start the program the WELCOME window appears again. blasto Posted August 10, 2006 Author Report Share Posted August 10, 2006 yes I'm,windows client brings up "wanna beat this robot" ad, however at linux side I only get "Welcome to BBO" window.. I'm closing it automatically with devilspie but it would be better if its not openned anyway. Since its a welcome screen I thought that it may be possible to disable it.. Cartman Posted August 20, 2006 Report Share Posted August 20, 2006 hi, I try to use BBO under Linux (wine) as well and have the following problem: I am able to log on, I can see al the players, who are loggod on as well (however I am not able to restrict the view by country for example) but I am not allowed to join any table, neither as player, neither as kibitzer. fred Posted September 27, 2006 Report Share Posted September 27, 2006 I am not sure which (if any) Windows emulators still have the problem in which the BBO toolbar appears at the top of the window (instead of at the bottom where it belongs), but good news is that this problem should go away with the next version.
