KiwiBridge
I've lost all sound after the update, as have several friends. Any ideas? Thanks
fred
This is the first I have heard of this problem. It would help if you could send me a copy of this file: c:\bridge base online\profiles\bbo_kiwibridge.ini as an e-mail attachment (fred@bridgebase.com). This file will only be useful to me if you are still experiencing the problems you reported. If you have fixed the problem by altering settings within BBO, don't bother sending me the file (but in this case please describe the details of how you fixed the problem). Once I have a better idea of what is happening I should be able to make sure that future new versions do not suffer from this problem. david_c
I had a similar problem. There was one sound which still worked properly (I think it was the "friend logs in" sound), but all the others had been replaced by a default Windows beep. Completely reinstalling BBO solved the problem for me.
inquiry
I have heard reports of this. In the cases I ahve seen, the customize setting had changed. For instance, under voice. none of the options under customize was chosen, so of course, no voice despite the check mark. I suggest stroking the customize button for both voice and sound and see if any are selected... Ben
Rain
I've lost much of my sound too, but I only tested this after stephen alerted me to the fact. Despite having everything selected, I only hear the mouse over sound.click, click, click. No other bells or whatever. I thought it may be because I selected 0 sound for windows XP and not a BBO problem, but now I dunno.
KiwiBridge
The next time I logged on to BBO, all my sounds were working again... I changed nothing... it's a miracle of windows I guess.
