pigpenz
Fredis there something that can be down when playing against someone you have marked with a club(enemy) asks what a bid means during a tourney. I had this happen today and the ACBL TD got all over my case cause I didnt answer a question that I had no idea was being asked. When I then said I had that person marked with Club the TD got on my case for that too. Also every once in a while you may even have a TD marked with club and cant answer questions to them since you dont know that you are being asked them, that happened last year. inquiry
Temporary work-around. When an enemy is at your table, click on your profile and remove the check mark next to ignore chat from enemies. When they leave your table, you can restore such mark. 1eyedjack
Possibly a simpler temporary workaround is to disable the block on receiving chat from enemies, for the duration of the tourney. But in principle I agree: the block on enemy chat should not apply to a TD at a tournament in which you are participating, nor to an opponent who is actually seated at your table. pigpenz
seems like the software should take care of itsometimes disabling all table chat is the best way to stay out of trouble but it would seem the arrow buttons to ask questions to right or left hand opp should override the blockage
inquiry
seems like the software should take care of it This iis why I said the solution was a work around. Another work-around is to makr your enemy as your friend!!! then when hand is over, change the fellow back. BTW, I do not ignore the chat of my enemies. Of course, due to my being a bbo yellow host, if someone is abusive to me, I can suspend their rights to play on line so I will never have abusive enemies...
