East is not good enough to jump-shift and should bid 2D. Over 2D west should support diamonds rather than show hearts. Over 3D it is more difficult. It seem practical just to jump to 5D. However, I do like Chuck's sporting 3NT rebid, even tho he scarred me for the next month by invoking MC Hammer....I think he needed to "bust a move"...
