mr1303
[hv=d=n&v=b&s=sxhqxxxdacq10xxxxx]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] 1NT Pass to you. You play Stayman and 4 suit transfers if it helps. Stayman then 3 minor is forcing.
Gerben42
Assuming a strong NT there is something to be said for a direct 5♣ bid.
mike777
5Clubs from partner's side if possible..ignoring hearts....just bidding the darn game at Imps again.
luke warm
1nt : 2♠3♣ : 5♣ only problem is super accept by pard w/ 2nt, then i don't know what you do...
Winstonm
I guess to bid it this way, and I emphasize "guess." 1N-2C2D/S-3C3N-5C I believe this comes closest to describing my shape and strength without sounding like some kind of slam try. han
I will start with a transfer to clubs. If partner shows a good hand for clubs (either by bidding 2NT or 3C, whatever you play) then I will bid 3S, showing shortness. A fitting 11-count should do it, so if things look good and I can find out then I will try for slam. If partner denies a good hand for clubs then I will settle in 5C. What is partscore doing in the title?
whereagles
Direct 5♣ seems fine.
