fred
We have to release a new version to the general membership by early August in order to deal with the volume of vugraph we are expecting in that month. Version 4.7.9 will handle up to 32 simultaneous vugraph tables (as opposed to the maximum of 8 tables in all previous versions). We have added supported for Traditional Chinese in this version (BBO already supported Simplified Chinese). If you speak Traditional Chinese, please help us with testing! You can change your BBO language by logging in and clicking the Options button on the toolbar (it looks like a yellow gear). Then alter the "language" setting in the window that appears and click OK. Flag added for Iraq. New flag introduced for Serbia. German flag improved with respect to colors (thanks ackhh). In 4.7.9 you can right-click on a (red) name in the chat area after that player has logged off. A menu will allow you to mark that player as friend/enemy/neutral, edit player notes, or send that person a BBO mail message. Most likely we will be adding more functions to these (and other) menus in the not too distant future, including a mechanism for making an abuse report about another member. Several bugs have been fixed and several minor improvements made in 4.7.9. Hopefully no new bugs have been introduced (famous last words). Please report any problems you find to me (preferrably by e-mailing fred@bridgebase.com). I am doing a lot of travelling these days. If I am away from my office and unable to respond to your e-mail, you will receive an automated reply and I will investigate when I get home. Please help us by switching to 4.7.9 and reporting any problems you find! This will help ensure that our upcoming automatic download is free of serious bugs. As you can probably imagine, automatically upgrading all members to a version with big problems would be disaster for BBO. You can upgrade to 4.7.9 at: Click here to update! or download everything (including all the latest files) at: Click here for everything! I suggest you use the first method, but however you do this, please make sure you exit the BBO program COMPLETELY before you start the download process.
