mikegill
[hv=d=w&v=n&s=saq64hq52daktcakq]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] 4th seat unfavorable. Your RHO is Meckstroth, and LHO is another very good player (not a client). Meckstroth opens 1S in 3rd seat, clearly a psych to some degree or another. I decided to double for now and see how things went. LHO bids 2S, alerted as discouraging any further action and maybe only having a doubleton spade. Partner comes alive with 4H. Clearly I'm bidding a slam if we're not off the AK of trumps, so I bid 4S keycard, and partner responds 4NT showing 1. Which is safer, 6H or 6NT? Unfortunately 6NT is going to be played from partner's side (curse you 1430).
pbleighton
6H. Pd probably has 5+ for his jump, and he will probably need to establish hearts in order to make 6NT anyway. Note 2 probablys :) Peter
