inquiry
A user has suggested it would be nice if there was an option to click that allow a partnership to join a table with both EW chairs empty as a partnership. Or at least join and block the opposite seat until the ownership can be straignted out with the table host.
Tola18
This partnership suggestion is good. Another partnership suggestion may be to let easy switch of seats. Typical example we are playing, and declarer disappers, perhaps bad connection. The best way here is to let the dummy overtake declarership. Usually better than to cancel the board - it was perhaps interesting play or something, we dont want to lose the movie.Heshe can get out and go in again at another seat, but risk is big someone else jumps in.Besides, when dummie play the hand to the end, there is time for the disconnected to return, and no time or mental energy goes lost. another case may be in training sessions mentor - student. >To let the student play as much as possible. extrasolid
A very good idea. Getting two free seats on a line as partnership would be great. I often "follow" my P and then the seat is taken or the owner of the table does not like me or not two of the same country or he dclines for any reason. Then my P has to leave and we have to look araound again. There is s second problem. I reduced the shown table as much as possible but often there are a lot of tables available. Then my P choses one table and he dissapears to the bottom becuase now 3 players are there and not 2 anymore. If I can find the table, the seat is taken. So, if possible please let us take seat together! As second advantage a partnership can wait for another partnership. Then the danger that anybody leaves because he feels insulted by "bad" play or bidding ist much less than when you get "privates" Uli
mgoetze
Personally, I believe just letting people join a table as EW is not that valuable in itself. If I want to play with a specific partner, we can just open a table. What I would really like is a way to, as a partnership, find another serious partnership to play against. So have a matchup option where you can select: we are a regular/semi-regular/developing partnership and want to play against a regular/semi-regular/developing/pickup partnership and up. Of course, I will be blacklisting people who claim to be a regular partnership and then ask "1430, p?" in the middle of an auction.
