uday
I've borrowed a web-cam and a laptop; anyone have any idea how to set up a streaming video feed? If i can figure it out in the next couple of days I'll try to broadcast images during the Reisinger Vugraph. I'm looking for either an inexpensive commercial service or software to allow me to supply the feeds from one of our own servers. This is a new area for me, and I'm hoping one of you knows how to do this.
csdenmark
Sounds very interesting Uday! I think we have problems in Vugraph to imagine how exhausted players are. On my screen Vugraph could be any computer game - and such games naturally have no signs of the problems human beings have after long matches. I have no idea of how to do what you intend - but as you ask I think it will have a chance to work via Instant Messengers all connecting to a certain ID. I will be ready to help for a test if you need that. I have laptop and a cheap webcam and microphone. I normally use Windows Messenger: csdenmark@hotmail.com. If you prefer Yahoo I can download that. My ID is: csdenmark.

Uday, first of all make sure you will have enough bandwidth for such a broadcast, live video even with maximum compression takes a lot of bandwidth and with 3000/5000 users online at the same time the figures and hardware requierements can scale badly. If the infraestructure is fine then I think there're a lot of free tools to put a webcame feed online.
