erki_
To me, the system of Fantoni and Nunes seems quite natural, yet they have red sticker on their CC. Why so? Because 1♣ opening can have only 2 clubs (when balanced)? :P
Finch
That's certainly what makes my methods red-sticker: the short club.
Gerben42
I know that many TDs suggest that 2+♣ can be green if it's NF. On the other hand, some also don't. Luckily the WBF site says green is for natural systems but nowhere it is defined what a natural system is. 1♣ 2+♣ and forcing is certainly red. I don't think all this colouring is of any use anyway (other than HUM yes/no)
pbleighton
Maybe the fact that their one bids are forcing? Peter
Free
Several reasons for being red since it's not a standard system anywhere. M5♦4 is, but Fantunes is different:- 1-level openings are forcing- no natural continuations (1♣-1NT for example is GF)- several relays (gazzilli, GAR,...)- 2-level openers sure aren't standard- 1m-3X are GF 5-5's However, I don't think many people will make a scene when playing against it since it's still "quite natural". It's not like they're playing against MOSCITO :)
paulg
Bertens-Bakkeren 'Dutch Doubleton' system is marked as Green. This corresponds to the UK's Short Club and I would not be surprised if it is similar to Frances' system that she has marked Red. Of course, you really need to ask the WBF for a definitive answer.
