Double Dummy

Hi. I have not used BBO for a while and have just updated to the latest version. I went to Double Dummy problems and DF is gone. I then read some posts on this forum about GIB. I have now paid for a month of GIB and it does not work in the Double Dummy area. I tried inputting the hand to a movie, but still can't get GIB to analyse it. Help, please

Double dummy works when you are either a kibitzer or you load a movie into the bbo program (netbridgevu). To activate it, press the Gib button on the tool bar at the bottom of the screen. Some time it takes a minute or two for the analysis to occur.

Thanks for that. However, I must be BBO challenged. I set up a teaching table with GIB playing in 3 seats and myself in the fourth. I then loaded my movie and clicked on GIB in the toolbar - nothing happened. I was given the choice of 3 types of analysis or to adjust GIB play settings. I have looked at GIB as a kibbutzer and notice there were 2 other choices on the menu.

There does seem to be a problem in that GIB's double dummy analysis feature is not available in the Double Dummy area of BBO (oops!).

 

Sorry - I will make sure to fix that in the next version. Thanks for reporting this.

 

GIB's double dummy analysis function will work in the context of a teaching table set up as you describe it, but only if the bidding is complete.
