Teacher needed

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm in need of a teacher to help me learn the basics and good habits in the learning phase (although that is probably life-long  ) of Bridge play.

I am a beginner studying SAYC and have taken two excellent online courses on beginning defense and 1NT responses. I am practicing cardplay with "BridgeMaster", but am in real need of something similar with the auction.

I am in the EST zone and am flexible with scheduling.

Thanks for your help!!

If you mean lessons for money I can recommend: o_bones (Mike Dorn Wiss), mcphee (Bob Mcphee), or Stanned (I don't remember his real name). You get better rates with people from Eastern Europe (stanned) but their hours would probably not suit you. Hope this helps.

i'd add shep, who teaches a lot of beginners/intermediates and is great, from what i hear... the thing is, most teach 2/1 though i'm sure sayc is not beyond them :P ... maybe it might be worth your while learning 2/1? just a suggestion... oh, and whatever you do, stick with bridgemaster... a great program

There are many teachers on BBO, with varying credentials. I usually refer people to Susan Doty at http://www.bridgeclasses.com/ but this is not an official BBO recommendation, just a personal one.

BBO does not currently have a financial interest in any of these online lessons. BBO does not recommend one teacher over another, and BBO is not responsible for the quality of the service.
