Echognome
Are we supposed to laugh or cry at this "problem"... I dunno. You will have to tell me. If it's clearcut, then I'm sorry that it's clearcut. It actually wasn't the problem at the table. I just wondered if it would have been a problem. Walddk
I did double, didn't I? I have a virtual 14 count (disregard ♥Q). Another double would show a much better hand. I pass and lead ♣x. Roland
Al_U_Card
You have a lot of wastage. Your shape is bad for another double as he will likely bid clubs with 4-4 in the minors. The opps already know your hand so why put yourself in the danger zone? Pass smoothly and try to falsecard a bit.... :D
jdonn
Are we supposed to laugh or cry at this "problem"... I hope I didn't seem rude. I'll put it this way. On most posted problems where I think the answer is obvious, I anticipate a hand being put down for partner where the "wrong" answer would have worked. Here I am having trouble visualizing any conceivable hand for partner where doubling again would work well. The closest I can come is partner making a penalty pass with nothing in trumps, then the queen being misguessed on the auction for down 1. I had to really reach to come up with the scenario. I pass and lead a low club. I would actually lead a low heart from this hand normally on an auction and hand like this, but here I think they are likely to misguess the queen after my double so I don't want to ruin that. P_Marlowe
Pass. Partner wont have a 4 card spad suit,he wont have a trap pass, and I dontlike the idea of playing a part score atthe 4 level. Wiith kind regardsMarlowe

whereagles
Pass as well. The hand is probably worse than AQxx xx AQxx Qxx!

pclayton
Gotta pass. Sometimes pard has a 6 card minor and a weak hand that got buried but thats life. Lose 5. Other times, LHO has a 14 count and doubleton heart and you just signed up for 800. Lose 13. But most of the time, pard has a random 6 count that might produce a set against 3♥, which seems reasonable given your crappy ODR.
joshs
No not worth another call. Thinking is an overbid. Your best chance for a plus is by passing...
